Automated Budget Planners & Average Costs

Great care should be taken when using these methods to calculate the budget for your wedding. Estimates vary as there are so many options to choose from a bewildering array of products & services. Each of the key items on your planning list will vary significantly in cost, and is wholely dependant on your expectation and own tastes.

Deciding On The Number Of Guests

The number of guests you choose to invite should always be carefully considered. Cost per head for catering purposes is usually the deciding factor. For example, if you invite 100 guests to a traditional wedding breakfast, the estimated cost could be £50 per head or a total estimated cost of £5,000. (new para)For 100 guests, a buffet may cost just £20 per head or a total estimated cost of £2,000. There will also be the additional cost of drinks and the evening party.

Selecting A Venue

One of the earliest descisions when planning your wedding will be the venue or venues for the Wedding Breakfast and the Evening Function. The cost of the venue(s) may well influence the guest numbers. Some venues may also have a required minimum number of guests, as a condition of booking.
